Few veterans within electronic music boast the respect and numerous accolades, as DJ and producer Andy Galea. Considered by many to be a master of the craft across various forms of house music, his position as head of A&R for Strictly Rhythm / Ikonik is indicative ear for a killer tune.

With over twenty years of experience producing, remixing and performing all over the world, Galea has established his place as a true legend on the scene. His long list of monikers and aliases is a testament to his widespread appeal, delivering killer tunes across a wide spectrum.

Over the last two decades, industry recognition and praise of his talent has been overwhelming; from receiving a "Best Band" award at the Muzik Magazine Awards to being amongst nominees for "Best Newcomer Act" at the prestigious MOBO awards.

Galea's versatility and skill as a producer is highly sought after from all corners of the music industry with remixes completed for artists such as Rihanna, Britney Spears and Technotronic and many others.

His productions have been greeted with unwavering radio support from the likes of industry heavyweights such as Pete Tong and Capital Radio's Andi Durrant, as well as live support from artists such as Joachim Garraud, Funkagenda, Roger Sanchez, Sander Van Doorn, Markus Schulz, D.O.N.S and Stonebridge to name just a few.

Remixes aside, Galea's most renowned work is his '95 chart-topping smash hit "Turn Me Out" under the Sol Brothers guise; a track so epic that it commanded a re-release, which went on to become THE summer anthem for Strictly Rhythm in 2011.

2012 is shaping up to be a promising year for Galea, with many exciting projects, collaborations and new releases on the way. Most notable is his work as one third of The Nightstylers, alongside Marc JB and Patrick Ruane. Their dancefloor-destroying remixes of Planet Funk's classic "Chase the Sun", heralds a new chapter in Galea's illustrious career.

Building on that success their track "No More Lies", released on Roger Sanchez's Stealth label, has become a mammoth hit whilst their epic anthem "The More I See", featuring the vocal talents of Dead-ringer-for-Sting Dan Brown, has already hit big on Armin Van Buuren's Armada label.

2012 is set to be another successful year for Galea, with a forthcoming Nightstylers EP on Armada due this March, just in time for the Miami promos. Galea shows no sign of slowing down as he continues to collaborate with established artists and heavy hitters on the scene, as well as nurturing new talent, with a slew of killer anthems in the bag.

Aside from production, his highly successful Glam Parties nights (www.glampartiesuk.com), in association with Roy Jackson, have gone from strength to strength, with the likes of Tall Paul, Seb Fontaine, Prok & Fitch, Riley & Durrant and many more clamoring to play at their events.
