Dev is a very versatile character - actor, broadcaster and DJ, he has been at the forefront of youth broadcasting for a decade.

He is currently part of the record breaking BBC Radio 1 daytime line up, occupying the daily slot of Early Breakfast, just before Chris Moyles. He represents a fresh sound and outlook to mornings, and this has led him to cover for the likes of Greg James, Scott Mills, the Radio 1 Chart Show and Vernon Kay.

Dev started his presenting career on BBC TV with the show Smile, which was aired on BBC 2 in 2002 and saw him star alongside Reggie Yates and Fearne Cotton. This chemistry saw Reggie & Dev offered a prime weekend morning show on the BBC's digital network 1Xtra. His passion for engaging with listeners, and his obvious love of music led to him being offered a solo show, which he took and made a big success of. This soon became a 5 day a week show and Dev's potential was clear for all to see. 2009 saw the leap from BBC

1Xtra to BBC Radio 1 happen. Dev was tasked with waking the nation up every weekend on Radio 1, and had an immediate impact. His figures were impressive, and it wasn't long before station bosses moved him from weekends to weekday mornings.

As well as his radio work, Dev has performed in clubs across the UK and Europe and has warmed up for a slew of international acts, including hip hop acts Kanye West and Jurassic 5.
His genuine nature and ability to grace the airwaves and cameras with equal measure make the future very bright for one of Britain's leading young stars.
